Cranberry BBQ Chorizo Meatballs

When it comes to food my two favorite things are EASY and DELICIOUS and these meatballs handle both of those requirements.

I opted for a Chorizo Seasoned Turkey Sausage, (mostly because it was on sale), but you could use Ground Pork Italian Sausage too (if you do that you might want to substitute the Legendary Super Sauce Original BBQ sauce with the Legendary Super Sauce Spicy BBQ), but another reason I chose the Turkey Sausage because I think it pairs best with the Cranberry BBQ sauce.

The first step is to make your meatballs…

1 16oz package of Jennie O Chorizo Seasoned Turkey Sausage

1 large Egg

1 Cup of Panko Bread Crumbs

Mix them all together in a bowl and shape into little balls.

I chose to pan-fry mine in a little Olive Oil but you could easily put them in the oven or air Fryer. Just make sure you cook to an internal temperature of at least 160 Degrees.

While they are cooking it’s time to make the sauce.

1 14oz can of Ocean Spray jellied Cranberry Sauce

1 Cup of Legendary Super Sauce Original BBQ Sauce

Mix together with a hand blender until smooth.

Don’t use all of this sauce, use enough to cover your meatballs, then keep the rest to use as a spread on your leftover Turkey Sandwiches!

Put out and watch people enjoy this simple, delicious appetizer.
